CLESummit - Christian Law Enforcement Summit

Mr. Pratt,
I am sending this email to encourage Lifeway to continue offering the Christian Law Enforcement Summit. I have been a police officer for five years and had heard good things about this summit. This year I was able to attend the fall summit at Ridgecrest, North Carolina. I need to express the importance of this ministry. My spouse and I found it very comforting to know we were not the only law enforcement family experiencing difficulties, that in fact, there were similar difficulties nation wide.

While the fellowship, location, facilities and seminars where good, none of that mattered. What mattered was the Christian influence of fellow law enforcements officers. Law enforcement is a unique family, and a profession that only those immersed in can understand. Neither extended family, immediately family, friends nor the church can understand the physiological and emotional stress law enforcement brings to bear on the officer, and more importantly the officers spouse and children.

These Christian Law Enforcement Summits are essential to the well being of officers, Christian or not.They are the perfect venue for hearing the word of God facilitated by fellow officers.

I know in these tough economic times fundraisings and budgets are difficult to manage, which is yet another reason to ensure this summit continues. The "job" is difficult enough and finances go along with that, yet God provides
in all circumstances. Please do not discontinue this summit.
